Lace up Skirt in Marvelous Designer

I have been learning Marvelous designer not from more than a week, Also 3D always makes me little anxious. When I first searched about this software I came across a Youtube video in which someone was making this kind of skirt.
I thought its really cool, but in reality it was not. I must be tried to make the lace go through from the hole like ten times. Each time I did made a new skirt from the scratch. With different settings obviously, bcz I thought its all about some setting.
Unfortunately it was not. Then I tried to approach in a different way. I cut the skirt where are the holes supposed to be, the rectangle area you can see and stitched it with the skirt fabric. And assigned a really tight fabric so that it can hold the weight. And that was the most important thing.
After that it was easy lol.
